Cancellation conditions

You will find, in the box below, the amount of the fees charged in case of cancellation.

You can cancel your reservation by clicking on the link at the end of your confirmation e-mail and following the instructions on your screen. If your reservation includes a booking fee, please note that this is non-refundable.

It is advisable to cancel as soon as possible once the cause of cancellation has occurred.

Cancellation fees

Cancellation fees are non-refundable if a non-refundable rate is selected. Fees are also non-refundable according to the selected flexible rate if cancelled 3 days prior to arrival, the first night without extras is charged and non-refundable. If cancelled on the day of arrival or in case of no-show, 100% of the reservation is charged and non-refundable.

In case of cancellation, if you have paid online all or part of the reservation, this amount will be returned to you after deduction of the cancellation fee (except for non-cancellable non-refundable offers).

The hotel will pre-authorize the amount for the first night.

Taxes

The prices are displayed including VAT. Tourist tax, government or local taxes may be requested in addition.

Arrival time / Departure time

Your room or apartment will be available at the reception from the time indicated below

On the day of your departure, you must vacate your room/apartment by the time indicated below. Failure to comply with this departure time limit may result in the billing of an additional night.

It is recommended that you use the "Comments or Additional Information" box on the booking form to notify us of your estimated time of arrival, especially if it is late.

How to handle complaints

To make a reservation for a Service available on the Site, the Customer may contact our hotel reservation service from Monday to Sunday 24 hours a day at +33 1 45 42 31 17 (price of a local call).

For all questions related to the proper execution of a Service booked on the Site (requests for additional information, modification or cancellation of a reservation), the Client is invited to contact the Hotel directly: the Hotel's contact information is indicated in the e-mail and the reservation confirmation page and on the Hotel's page on the Site.

For any remarks and/or complaints relating to a reservation of a Service on the Site (complaint, non-performance or poor performance of the Service), the customer service department is at your disposal:

- By phone, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, at +33 1 45 42 31 17 (price of a local call);

- By e-mail, to the following hotel address: reservation@hotelchatillon.fr ;

- By mail, to the following address Hotel Châtillon, 11, Square de Chatillon, 75014 Paris - FRANCE.

To facilitate the processing of claims, it is recommended that claims relating to the non-performance or improper performance of the Services be addressed to the customer service department in writing within eight (8) days of the date of performance of the Service.

In their relations with the customer service, the Client undertakes to remain courteous and not to make any derogatory remarks about the establishment or its employees, in accordance with the rules of common sense and politeness. The Hotel Châtillon-Montparnasse reserves the right to take any appropriate action against the Client in the event of prejudicial or reprehensible behavior (in particular, untoward, malicious or insulting behavior), particularly with regard to the Hotel, the entities of its group or its employees or collaborators.

Cancellation or modification of a service reservation

For Accommodation Services (room reservation within an Establishment or other types of accommodation), the Customer is reminded that he does not have the right of withdrawal provided for in Article L. 221-18 of the Consumer Code, in accordance with Article L. 221-28 paragraph 12 of the Consumer Code, which excludes this right for contracts relating to the provision of accommodation services that must be provided on a specific date or at a specific period.

For each Service reservation, the Special Conditions specify the terms and conditions for cancelling and/or modifying the reservation.

Reservations with prepayment will not be subject to any modification and/or cancellation. Deposits (sums paid in advance) will not be refunded. In this case, it is mentioned in the Special Conditions.

When the Particular Conditions allow it:

- the cancellation of the reservation of a Service can be made directly on the Site via the heading "Modify or cancel a reservation";

- the modification of the reservation of a Service may be made directly on the Site via the "Modify or cancel a reservation" section or directly with the Establishment, whose contact details, in particular telephone numbers, are specified on the confirmation of the reservation sent by e-mail.

In the event of interruption of a Service due to the Client, the entire agreed price will be collected. In the case of reservation with prepayment before the stay, no refund will be granted.

The Client must leave the room before the time indicated by the establishment. Failure to do so will result in an additional night's stay being charged.

Law applicable to the settlement of disputes

The General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law, without prejudice to any mandatory protective provisions that may be applicable in the country of residence of consumers.

The Client is informed by the Hotel Châtillon-Montparnasse of the possibility of resorting, in the event of a dispute relating to these General Terms and Conditions, to a conventional mediation procedure or any other alternative dispute resolution method, under the conditions provided for in Title I of Book VI of the Consumer Code.

After having referred the matter to the establishment in an attempt to resolve the dispute amicably, and in the event of a negative response or the absence of a response within sixty (60) days from the date of referral, the Customer may refer the matter to the Mediator of Tourism and Travel - BP 80303 - 75823 Paris Cedex 17 for the Châtillon-Montparnasse Hotel.

- The procedures for referring a matter to the Mediator and his contact details are available by clicking on the website www.mtv.travel.

- A complaint may be submitted to the Ombudsman within twelve (12) months of the first complaint.

Contractual clause relating to the applicable legislation and the competent jurisdiction

The entry of the required banking information as well as the acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions and the Special Terms and Conditions by electronic means constitutes an electronic contract between the parties which is proof between the parties of the reservation of the Service and of the payment of the sums due in execution of the said reservation.

The General Terms and Conditions and the applicable Special Terms and Conditions express the entirety of the obligations of the parties. No other conditions communicated by the Client may be included in them.

In case of contradiction between the Special Conditions and the General Conditions, the Special Conditions will be the only ones applicable for the obligation in question. In case of contradiction between, on the one hand, the General Terms and Conditions, of any nature whatsoever, of a partner and, on the other hand, these General Terms and Conditions, the stipulations herein shall be the only ones applicable for the obligation in question.

If one or more stipulations of the General Terms and Conditions are held to be invalid or declared as such in application of a law, a regulation or following a final and binding decision of a competent court, the other stipulations will retain their full force and scope.

The authentic language is French. If the General Terms and Conditions were to be translated into a foreign language, the French language shall prevail over any other translation in the event of a dispute, litigation, difficulty of interpretation or execution of these conditions and more generally concerning the relations existing between the parties.

The Client acknowledges and agrees that Hotel Châtillon-Montparnasse may transfer these Terms and Conditions, as well as all rights and obligations attached thereto, to any third party, without the Client's prior written consent. The Client agrees that such assignment releases Hotel Châtillon-Montparnasse for the future. The Client may not transfer the General Terms and Conditions or the rights and obligations attached thereto to third parties without the prior written consent of Hotel Châtillon-Montparnasse.

In accordance with Article L.223-1 of the Consumer Code, consumers who do not wish to be the subject of commercial canvassing by telephone can register free of charge on an opposition list to telephone canvassing. This list is accessible via the following website: www.bloctel.gouv.fr.
